The National Archives of Sri Lanka has well equipped Technical branch which deals with preservation and conservation of archival material.
This branch has local and overseas trained staff and they give technical assistance to government, semi government and private institutions and public on preservation and conservation of documents in addition to conservation of records in religious institutions.
